Immunizations & Insurance
Listed below are additional supplemental documents that must be completed and submitted before arrival on campus. Please review the following information in regards to the documentation that you must complete.
- Certificate of Immunization through Med+Proctor: Certification of Immunization is done through a third party called Med+Proctor. Once you have completed an application, been admitted, and have a GGC email address, you will be able to create an account. After creating, an account with Med+Proctor you can download the Immunization Verification form and will receive instructions to complete the process. All accepted students must satisfy immunization verification requirements.
- Insurance: Health insurance is a requirement for J-1 visa students. If you have health insurance from your home country, you may be waived the health insurance charge if your coverage meets the University System of Georgia requirements.
